Hack description

This is a collection of multiple Balloon Fight hacks combined into one. There are hacks that may appear familiar, some more obscure than others, and there are some hacks that are appearing for the first time, all in this collection.

This collection came about from a childhood fascination in old NES multicarts, and preserving the projects inspired by Balloon Fight.

Some of the more obscure hacks in this multicart include: Fish War, Iwata Edition, Balloon Fight X2, Shadows Edition, Zero Gravity, and the newly discovered, Killer Kitty.

In addition, for the first time ever, courtesy of mishra's 4 Players Hack, the level hacks, Cosmic Balloon Assault and Board Fight, can now be played with up to 4 players!

This hack uses the BPS patching format. Please download the beat utility by byuu and refer to the readme file for appropriate patching instructions. Patches are included for both the Japanese and American versions.

This hack uses the MMC5 mapper, so please use a compatible emulator. At the time of its initial release, it works well in FCEUX 2.2.3 and Mesen 0.9.9. It has not been tested on real hardware.

I wonder why no one till now has left a comment on this awesome hack. This hack simply combines 44 different game variations related to "Balloon Fight" in one place instead of having 44 different balloon fight game variations individually. I am currently playing this in Retropie and it's working perfectly well under "fceumm" emulator. It's not working on "Quicknes", & "Nestopia" properly. Now the cons or advice for improvements: 1. Make it compatible with more emulators like "Nestopia". 2. Once we start a game variation we can't go back to the games variation menu. We need to restart the whole game again to play a new variation. I would like to play a different variation without restarting the game. 3. I want to have the "cheat menu" as we have in the "4 player hack" implemented in all the variations(or at least the main variations) where we can select the "number of lives" etc. 4. I want to be able to delete or keep only the variations that I want/like. For now, there are 44 variations on "balloon fight". I want to be able to selet the variation to keep and delete the rest. All in all, It's an awesome "mother of all hacks" related to "Balloon Fight" and I would reommend everyone to make it there main definitive version.
