This version is hard. From soldiers to turrents, everything seems to perfectly target you. You cannot just expect to run and gun without dying. I used the hack for 15 lives in the 2 player version. It was still hard for me. I am a casual gamer and my skills are not bad. I liked the feature of having 2 powers at the same time that can be switched. But, beleive me you won't be able to get the chance to swith weapons as you would be dying a lot. My only advice here would be that it needs to have lesser turrents and lesser soldiers to deal with. Even with easier patch I find it diffiult to the extent that I couldn't complete the first level itself. I didn't want to reommend this mod. But, looking at the kind of work done and the prospect of a better game in the future for casual gamers like myself. I just gave it a like. I hope this hack could be made easier for the casual gamer atleast upto the original contra level. | |||
