great sprite update, but music...mcfly19902023-12-08Version 1.0

The sprite are very good, like the movie, but music now is slow and the drums dont sound like 1984, the og music sound like 80's and this not, maybe can upload a patch only for graphics please

A hack that delivers what it promises!vikfield2020-12-03Version 1.0

This hack definitely improves the experience of the original game; the colors are more vivid, the details of the graphics more striking and the sound FX and music are much clearer and powerful.

When we start the game, one of the first surprises we come across is the new touch-up of the game title screen, which shows us the young Schwarzenegger in vivid color, unlike the original game, which seems to want to hide him with its opaque colors. The explosives new sprites make you feel closer to the movie, since indeed the previous "bomberman grenades" totally ruined the fantasy. And what about the work done on the image of kyle 1984? just fantastic! He went from being an IMSS nurse to the psychopathic homeless that we all love.

All improvements have been well done and well accepted. Even so the only request I would make would be that if possible, please change the aufull sprite of future Kyle Reese. it is horrible! He looks like some kind of fisherman and has no resemblance to his outfit from the movie, which even inspired kojima for the cover of Metal Gear. It would be great to see kyle resse as we saw him on sega cd or better, judging by the talent of the producers.

Good job again, and thank you very much for releasing this great hack.

Many essential improvements, but one major downgrade.Xenon_Xyanide2020-11-05Version 1.0

Fantastic improvements to the splash screen, in-game sprites and the colour palette. But... the sound.

The music and the weapon SFX sound arguably worse on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd stage. Much worse. The instruments (bass-lines/snares hits) which were altered, sound weaker and lack the fluidity of the original sounding composition.

There are many problems with this game, but Matt Furniss' take on the music and SFX aren't the issue here.

I believe with a update to revert the changes made to the music/SFX this will be an essential patch. The changes to the 2B stage music are very much welcome though.

It appears a lot of hard work has been put into this hack, and I'll will be very interested to see an update in the future.
