Hack description

The Japanese release of the game has music from renown pop composer Tatsutoshi Goto, which is excellent in its own right, but many people prefer the music made by Ken Arnold for the original home computer release of the game.
This patch contains my personal arrangements of Ken Arnold's music, adapted for the NES hardware.
Almost all of the music is taken from the Commodore 64 version of Ultima III, with the addition of "Captain Johne's Hornpipe" from Ultima V.

Note: this patch should work on the original USA version of the ROM, as well as on the Remastered hack previously released.
Your saved games will not be impacted, as long as you do not rename the ROM file since most emulators need to match that to its own RAM save file.

I have a busy life schedule and rarely get to check out new hacks let alone spend time to play them. But as soon as I saw this I had to check it out. So far I've checked out most of the tracks and they're amazingly well done!! I'd like to eventually sit down and playthrough this game again using this music patch along with the author's Ultima Exodus Remaster mod! Awesome work and thanks a ton for this amazing patch!! Here's to Fox Cunning giving the same treatment to the NES version of Ultima: Quest of the Avatar! :) Highly recommended - especially fans of the original versions!
