Hack description

The nefarious Dr. Robotnik has zapped Sonic the Hedgehog with a super shrinking ray! But before Sonic could reach the mustached menace, his friend Flicky called for help! Her buddies, the Chirps, are stuck in various buildings, and need to be escorted to safety. Sonic, without hesitation, offered to help Flicky's friends. And so Sonic begins the rescue mission...

I have a love of Sonic that goes all the way back to the early 90's. I also have a love of arcade games, and this hack makes a decent attempt at marrying the two. It is Flicky, but the Flicky sprites are changed to Sonic. Very cool! However, I feel this could have so many more improvements to make it a truly new and unforgettable experience. I will list some suggestions below: Adding a new title screen logo to include Sonic's name, to have it say "SONIC in FLICKY". Replacing the music to include Sonic music instead of Flicky music. Replacing the "enemy" sprites to Badniks/enemies from the Sonic games. Possibly add Sonic sound effects. I like the idea of this hack, it's a lot like Sonic 3D Blast, only 2D and in a house. There is definitely potential here to make a great hack of Flicky.
