| This hack is really splendid. | Vallenatero2015 | 2022-10-23 | Version 1.0 |
I love these graphics as they really put a modern twist on this great classic from Super Mario Bros. for the NES. What's more, they do it in the style of New Super Mario Bros. for Nintendo Wii. I thank the hacker who made this beautiful work of art.
| Delightful | Eldiran | 2022-09-28 | Version 1.0 |
The sprites are just as good in motion as they look in the screenshots. Love the Mario sprites especially. Great work!
| Not the best work | Ligeia | 2022-09-26 | Version 1.0 |
This release was absolutely not necessary when a vastly superior similar hack had previoulsy been released. Here we have a really weird-looking cross-eyed Mario, the reworked floor tiles and level settings in general are not much changed and leave a lot to be desired for such a hack project. Also, why use italics for the on-screen text ? That's the kind of small detail that's just a random change for the sake of change and brings no additional value. All the sprite work in general isn't very detailed, polished nor professional, and what little changes there are are not for the better. So I don't recommend this since much better work is available elsewhere.
| Looks Amazing | Supertriangle | 2022-09-24 | Version 1.0 |
I'm so impressed by these graphics. They make the game look modern, fresh, and attractive. They look so good it almost seems like it couldn't run on old hardware, even though it clearly can.
