Hack description

This patch was created by Yazoo for his French translation of Final Fantasy VI. It replaces the Final Fantasy III title logo and copyright/license text with the original from the Japanese version. It also removes the black and white splashscreen that was displayed before the title sequence. The opening credits have also been restored to the ones from the Japanese version: the translator position has been removed.

Note: This patch comes with no documentation, but it needs to be applied to a headered ROM. It works with both revisions of Final Fantasy III.

This patch gives FF6 its proper title screen. Simple but vitally important and widely compatible. Pretty much a required finishing touch in any FF6 endeavor. I just wish the author also included a patch for headerless ROMs, to improve ease of use.

How have I never left a review for this before? This patch is, to me, such a no brainer. It looks great, and it adds the proper numbering to the game. What's not to love?
