Hack description

It's no surprise to anyone that CastleVania Portrait of Ruin is a direct sequel of CastleVania Bloodlines of the mega-drive, but it fails to look like its predecessor, And this Hack aims to fix that, putting new Songs, Weapons, mechanics, graphics and more!

This hack has three patches. The first patch,
is the original and contains changes to music, equipment, subweapons, and
enemy palettes, in order to make CVPOR more like Bloodlines. it is
not really mentioned as a sequel to Bloodlines, but all of the story says
it should be. This original idea was made by Redpack (RP). The first
patch contains content by Redapck. This is how CVPOBL was intended.

The second patch contains more enemy palette changes, new palettes for
Jonathan and Char to match those od John Morris and Eric LeCarde, some
changes to equipment values, a new model for a certain weapon, and a
new weapon usable by Jonathan and Charlotte. All additions for this patch
were recommended to RP by StarWyvern (SW).

The third patch contains everything that the second patch contains, say for
a few MAJOR changes. BIG Equipment Boost. Richter is replaced by Sonia.
Maria is replaced by Carrie Fernadez. (Credits to Serio, Drameloch, Iamme,
for sprites and DF) Some of the enemy palettes are reverted. Alot of time
time and effort went in to making this hack with the interest of all CV
fans in mind. This hack would not be possible if not for the skill,

Good except for the insane walking speed up	Raykusen	2022-04-09	Version 3.0
I gave a try to this mod and looks nice and all, but man, the walking speed was modded and for worse, is way too fast... there was not need to mod the walking speed at all, feels like you are playing with gameshark codes on. A very bad experience. If that is not bad for you to walk like at x4 time faster, then play this hack. Personally i don't like that.

The Definitive Sequel to Bloodlines!!!	VK2212	2021-07-14	Version 1.0
First off, this is an absolutely amazing revision of PoR! This truly feels like a sequel to Bloodlines! The mechanics are definitely improved, and let's talk about the soundtrack!!! Absolutely mind-blowing! Many classic songs return, which adds even more value to this hack! A huge thank you to RedPack007 for allowing me to test out this hack before release, and also incorporate my feedback on certain parts of the game. I highly recommend trying out each patch, they are all unique from one another, especially playing as Sonia Belmont! Also adding her as the Whips Memory makes more sense, since in another time period, she was the first Belmont to take down Dracula! Again well done my friend, you did an amazing job!
