It's Almost Good Now!ArugulaZ2021-08-01Version 1.0

Well, maybe not GOOD. How about decent? It's still a Marvel game by Acclaim, so you can only expect so much.

Seriously though, this hack by BillyTime! boosts the score of this frustratingly clumsy action game from a three out of ten to a respectable six. Wolverine's got faster reflexes and the timer's been turned off, relegating Katie Kaboom to the character records screen rather than having her trail Logan's every step.

Before the patch, Wolverine: Adamantium Rage did everything within its power to prevent you from enjoying it. With the control tightened and the overly punishing timer removed, you can finally appreciate what the game has going for it... namely, Wolverine's vast selection of dives, rolls, and strikes, and the heavy metal soundtrack that's fairly impressive by Genesis standards.

One suggestion I'd make is to offer a custom control scheme, because I didn't notice one in the options menu. I'd personally like to use C for jump, B for kick, and A for slash, rather than the reverse. Once that's taken care of, this patch will make Adamantium Rage as good as it can conceivably get.
