Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3's color palettes are slightly lighter than the original SNES color palettes, to compensate for the dim GBA screen. When the game is played in a Game Boy Player however, the original Super Mario Bros. 3 color palettes are loaded. This patch will enable the Game Boy Player color palettes by default.Screenshots

| Good Brightness Level | NelsonPalacios2001 | 2024-03-24 | Version 1.0 |
To be honest, the default brightness of GBA mario games was considerable for the standard Game Boy Advance (AGS-001) models, due to the lack of backlighting due to the fact that it lowered the console's manufacturing costs, so it would be somewhat clear why it designed like that. However, in later models, such as the sp, it has a brightness button, although it only brightens the screen to a certain extent and not completely, so playing it on emulators comes with a clear color palette, so the only solution is with a patch like these that tries to resemble the SNES version that was a remaster of the same game that came collected from SNES Super Mario All-Stars. | |||
