Probably one of the hardest SMB hacks I've completed so far, Sonic gets his trademark speed which makes not colliding with a foe or falling to your death very tricky ! But with a bit of restraint and patience, it's still fun to play. I believe some things could be improved, like end level flags that look incomplete and buggy, and are quite easy to pass through and get you softlocked. There's also a mean dead end at the end of level 2-1, if you miss a vine in a block you're screwed. With that being said, I still enjoyed it and liked the new sprites and tiles, and especially the new music. Adding Knuckles was also a nice touch. Has a lot of extremely fast enemies and firebars, and a pretty damn good Sonic sprite. I would say this is within beginner Kaizo difficulty. | |||
