The patch came in two flavors, regular and the "Shenlong" variant.
Re-enables the (mostly) Japanese voices which was unused in the game files.
And again "mostly", as just like BR2, only 8 out of 14 characters that have been voiced in Japanese.
But, if you choose the "Shenlong" variant of the patch, it will enable the Japanese voices of Shenlong, which never used in any versions of the game (even the arcade ones).
And it's not the only feature that this patch have, it comes with a few more too:
Lip sync during win pose for few characters have been restored using files from the Japanese version.
Blood particle effects intensity have been restored to be on par with Japanese version.
This patch requires the Redump verified dump of the USA version of BR3.
How to patch:
Use the included DeltaPatcherLite.exe to patch your dump. The resulting md5 hash of the patched bin should be equal to:
6b76fc73aa304224b2c94526f6bb40b2 for the regular undub
33475e0b14f6acfb08cedeb7e1127b29 for the Shenlong variant
Note for PCSX2 users:
If you want to use Widescreen hack with the patched game, don't forget to rename the
PNACH (AA4E5A35.pnach) inside cheats_ws.zip too (Or extract it to the cheats_ws directory) with one of these:
AA4E5A95.pnach for the regular undub
AB4E5A95.pnach for the Shenlong variant
There's also an optional raw cheat codes provided in both PCSX2's PNACH and OPL w/ ps2rd's CHT format inside the "Misc (Optional)" directory, it contains the codes to enable the unused English voices of both Kohryu and Uranus, as well the alternate English voices for both Shina and Jenny which were used in Japanese version, in case you curious or prefer how they sounds like.
