Definitive versionsonikku172022-01-26Version 1.0

The definitive version of a Game Boy classic, all described features work well and make this feel like an official DX release on par with Link's Awakening DX

Alleyway is nothing to write home about, but this ROM hack is.j0nas2022-01-23Version 1.0

Alleyway, one of the four Game Boy launch titles, is sometimes believed to be the first game ever made for the Game Boy due to its simplistic design and nature. Today, there's hardly any reason to play it except for nostalgia. But do you know that very specific kind of nostalgia where you remember something that wasn't actually there? If not, get this beautiful color hack and you'll know what I mean.

Very much recommended!

A much appreciated improvement for an otherwise bland gameSupergamerguy2022-01-17Version 1.0

Alleyway isn't all that special nowadays, even if it was one of the Gameboy's launch titles. But this hack improves the experience enough to make Alleyway worth at least a try today. The colorization, of course, is the main draw here, and it mostly delivers with palette choices that make it shine (as well as being easy on the eye). There are a few sets of blocks that sport an annoyingly neon color scheme, but it's not really that big of a deal overall. The level select is just as welcome as the full-color revamp, as no one wants to replay every level over again just to get back to where they were and figure out the optimal way to beat it. There's no reason to ever play the original game again, and any Breakout fans or those with Alleyway nostalgia should play this instead.

Great DX version !Ligeia2022-01-16Version 1.0

I'm really fond of GB colorized hacks, especially when it's a game I've played countless times as a child. The colors are nice, the new features are a huge bonus and greatly appreciated. There's no reason to go back to the original ! Great job !

Another Great DX Gamboy Game With One IssueTF2022-01-16Version 1.0

This hack brings life to Alleyway with its nice color palette and extra features. The only issue I noticed was that when I tried using mGBA emulator the game wasn't playable. It does however work on Gambatte and TGB Dual from the emulators I tried. I prefer using mGBA but atleast the game is playable, maybe an update patch can fix the issue. I still recommend everybody play Alleyway DX over the original version of the game. Great Job on another Gameboy game getting a DX version. Thank You MojoDodo

Never play the original again, THIS NEW HACK IS THE WAYatpstudios2022-01-15Version 1.0

Wow, this is what I'm talking about!

There is nothing wrong with this - you went above and beyond for this one.

Not only is it colorized (amazingly too), you added in different selectable color palettes and the option to select the level; and you added save and a better scoring option.

This is the definition of a "DX" Gameboy version great job!
