Hack description

The Time Magic spell Speed (also called Drag) is terrible and confusing. It simply sets the battle speed setting to 5 - something you can already do in the options menu. In fact, if your battle speed is already 5, the spell does nothing!

These patches are options for replacing this terrible spell with some other suitable new spell instead. There are four options:
* 1 - Haste, but on the caster only
* 2 - Temporarily raise the caster's level by 7
* 3 - Recharge 12 MP on the caster
* 4 - Nullify all status ailments, good and bad, on the caster

Note that each is a separate IPS patch - apply only the one you are interested in. Also included are optional patches that will rename the spell for you (there are several candidate patches, just choose the one you like that matches the effect you picked).

These patches are quite tiny, and should be compatible with every SNES version of Final Fantasy 5 (Original Japanese, RPGe Translation, GBA Script Port, FF5Spoof), and are probably compatible with every other mod out there unless it's a gigantic overhaul mod. The optional rename patches are only compatible with English language versions.
