It's a fun little voyage through an icy world with most of the fauna frozen, giving you platforms to jump around on as if they were frozen by the ice beam. I never got lost, and the path was fairly obvious with pickups being in the proper places to avoid confusion and missing too many pickups. It's on the shorter side but enjoyable and likely doable on Hard Mode from the start if you're a veteran of the base game. | |||

Decided to play this on a whim since I had a small Metroid itch to scratch but didn't want to dump time into another fairly lengthy Metroid experience, so I decided to check out Metroid ROM Hacks that were short and found this one! It's a nice short session, linear and it guides you well towards the power ups you need as you try to fight Ridley, this game will take you likely only half an hour to an hour at most if you're familiar with Metroid. Nice cool visuals (pun intended) with a nice chill music track as ambience, and the Ridley fight is about the same as it is in Zero Mission. All in all a nice fun time that I'd recommend if people want a short fun time with Metroid! Total playtime from in-game file counter: 30 minutes, 10 seconds. Item Collection Rate: 100%. | |||
