Hack description

This hack restores four censored scenes that were cut from the English releases of Breath of Fire IV. It comes as a program that generates a new image file due to limitations with .ppf patches and copyrighted data being moved around. It is also compatible with this hack.

In addition, the program also provides an option to restore Scias' Identify ability as well.

Notes:

If the image generated by patcher.exe doesn't work, try using patcheralt.exe.

If you are playing with a save file created by the unpatched, original game, there may be incompatibilities. See the README for more info.

The hack may not be compatible with other Breath of Fire IV hacks. See the README for more info.

Do not play BoF IV without this hack!	Gagarin	2023-11-07	Version 1.11
From the 4 censored scenes of BoF IV, the first three are pretty funny, while the last one is easily the best scene in the entire game. It makes a huge difference for the impact of the plot, since it is its climax! With that said, you should never play BoF IV again without this hack. PS: I finished the game (hack version 1.11) and Scias didnt learn the identify ability. The creators should update this hack to fix it.

Just finished the game, and man, thank you very much. We know that American versions usually have censorship, but your version is very good indeed. Having identify working is also a good addition since the ability was previously useless.
