| A feature I've been looking for!! | RetroBenny | 2022-12-20 | Version 1.0 |
I was thinking that it would be amazing if this game had a stamina bar so thanks so much for making this. If I were to change something it would be the cool down time it takes before you start getting back. When you run out you are left chilling for a while before it comes back. I do think you should run out for a moment so you cant perform an action and be punished for not managing your stam but its just a bit too long right now. Maybe a couple versions? Again thanks for making this, as a huge Soulsborne fan I'm super happy this feature has been brought to the game that got me truly immersed in video games in the first place.
| Takes all the fun away | Ligeia | 2022-10-13 | Version 1.0 |
The stamina bar is basically the worst feature ever added in the Zelda series. It makes gameplay tedious and hinders exploration tremendously, which defeats the entire purpose of Zelda games which are supposed to be about exploration. This feature alone is basically ruining the series. That's why adding this to Ocarina of Time might be the worst idea of the year in the hacking scene. Let's just say the hack doesn't disappoint in that regard : every single action you take drains stamina. Every. Single. Action. Sword swings of course, but also any item use. Even aiming drains stamina ! What a pleasure to become a sitting duck because the stamina meter got drained after shotting a few arrows/deku seeds or using the hookshot. This makes exploration and every single fight an exercise in tedium, especially boss fights. What a way to ruin OOT's fighting system I used to enjoy so much. The one good idea of the hack is the run feature. If it was just that without the stamina meter, the hack would be a winner. But as far as I'm concerned it is just unplayable as it, so I surely don't recommend it, unless you like pain.
