| Great hack for individuals with epilepsy or just photosensitive in general! | FembyAmy | 2022-11-25 | Version 1.0 |
Really appreciate the work people put into hacks like these. You make classic games more playable for photosensitives.
| Very cool for those who need this! | lexluthermiester | 2022-10-27 | Version 1.0 |
Having played through many of the important parts of the game using save states and save files, I can confirm it works as intended and without anything that interferes with gameplay except for one point: The Level 3 Lighting. While I understand that the flashes need to go, could the Lighting animation frames still be shown? When you charge up and let loose, enemy's still take damage, but nothing is displayed to indicate to the player that such is happening. It is very weird. I still give this a thumbs up because for those who are sensitive to flashing images, this will allow those people to actually play and enjoy this wonderful game! I just think it needs a touch more refinement.
| A much-appreciated adjustment to a great game. | FrigginNeato | 2022-10-25 | Version 1.0 |
I'm extremely photosensitive and am prone to light-induced migraines, so flashing lights make a lot of older games extremely difficult to get through. A small adjustment like this is hugely welcome and I'm extremely appreciative that someone took the time to do this. Thank you so much!
| If only more games had this... | SiegfriedIII | 2022-10-24 | Version 1.0 |
Thanks to you I can replay this classic without the annoying flashes, I wish more retro games had the sense to not implement such effects. Although I do not suffer from seizures, it is nevertheless an annoying gimmick that bothers my eyes. I hope other games can be hacked with fixes like this.
