This patch is designed to add a simple saving mechanism to Boogerman.

How to use:

Saving:
Game saves at the start of each new life and level.

Game Saves:
The Start of each new world and at boss fights.

Loading:
Enter the password screen and press start.

NOTE:
Entered passwords will also be saved.

This hack does exactly what it says it does! I don't like to use save states, and having to annotate passwords is something too ancient. So with this patch the password is recorded and works just like a normal SRAM save. Good addition to one of the best 16-bit plataformers ever!
