Hack description

Pocky & Rocky, Twin stick controls

This is a hack that changes the controls to Twin Stick shooter style controls, similar to Smash TV.
The patch was developed for the US version of the game, untested on the JP version.

Changed controls:

- A, B, X, Y: shoot
- L: deflect
- R: dash
- Select: bomb

Current limitations:
- Player 1 has to play Pocky, player 2 has to play Rocky.
- Cannot change controls.

This hack elevates the experience of this game to the same as you would have with current games in the genre. Using a PS4 controller and mapping the buttons to analog the game feels excellent.

I love the new control scheme this hack provides! Strafing is very useful in the boss fights and getting out of tight situations. I'm looking forward to any updates or the possibility of this hack being done for Pocky and Rocky 2!
