OoE+ is a hack created with the intention of minimizing all the grinding of the original game by increasing drop rates, changing item pools and/or adding chests to maps where there's only some or any chests at all, increasing the Attribute Points awarded from defeating enemies as well the non-linear patch that opens almost all the maps very early in game and some changes of descriptions, enemies and items names.Screenshots

"Order of Ecclesia+" was a blast to play through, from start to finish. I rarely ran into any drop rate issues, where excessive grinding was required to get items or find rare glyphs. I encountered many more chests in my playthrough than what I've seen in long-plays before, which made traversal more engaging and less monotonous overall. Also, the option to play through the levels in any order is great for replay potential, though I stuck to the game's linear path on my first playthrough. This hack is perfect for newcomers or returning players to experience Ecclesia at its best, while retaining the vast majority of its quality original content.

I was originally extremely excited for this romhack, thinking to myself "the whole world available from the get go won't bother me", but... I was wrong. While yes, drop rates are better, AP gain is better, but all this is negated by something that should have been an optional patch: the non-linear, all places accessible from get go. Now, "why is that bad?", you may ask... Here is the problem: the hack assumes you are familiar with the game flow, order of places and structure. But what if you haven't played the vanilla game for too long? Either you will end up having to rely on fuzzy memory, read a lot (and watch cutscenes), or rely on a guide. So, unless you know the base game like the back of your hand, I cannot recommend.
