I played this game as a kid and never beat it. Though I got very far in it. I really loved if and felt like it was a combination of Mario 64 and Mario Kart 64. The adventure element is amazing. Having 3 vehicles to drive in some ways gave it an edge over Mario Kart 64. I feel like the game has held up well today and the best way to play it is on the N64 as opposed to the DS "remake". This hack puts you right into the action with all the goodies without having to earn them. Everything seems to work as it should and I jumped immediately into adventure mode as T.T. which I can honestly say is the first time I've ever had access to him. Every cheat is included and can simply be turned on or off from the options menu, including two player adventure! This is now my go-to version of Diddy Kong Racing. Simply add some AI upscaled textures and you are in for a blast. Great to see this game getting some love! | |||
