(Review for patch version 1.0) While the concept of the improvement is a good idea, the execution is lacking. The main protagonist looks better, but the girl and the sprite don't have enough variety. The girl just has orange and yellow, which seem to blend together. The sprite's hair is too bright, and its clothes are all yellow, where in the original game they're green and pink-ish. Also, the weapons. You mentioned enhancing them, but honestly, I think you did the opposite. Take the spear and the boomerang in the screenshots, for example; they're all purple. Compare them to the sword in that same screenshot, and you'll see what I mean. If the girl and sprite had the same touch-ups that the guy did and some of the weapons weren't turned bland-looking, the patch would be nice, but as they are now, the colors all clash with each other. | |||
