| Great Overall, but Chaos is Double! | Gregoryes | 2023-07-21 | Version 1.0 |
So, the new weapons and their placements are great! Although some parts are different from the original castle, but they didn't bother me that much. That was, until I got to the Chaos Realm In the Chaos realm, there is a room to the right where you can re-fight bosses, but they kill you in two hits, although annoying, I decided to just ignore it But for some reason, Chaos was replaced with the randomizer option: Double Chaos! There are two bone dragons and they can kill you in TWO HITS, it's just so annoying I'm guessing this patch was made on top of a randomizer with the Double Chaos option turned on A fix would be appreciated, I want to play this because the new weapons are genuinely fun and interesting, but I cannot get myself to beat it due to Double Chaos
| An amazing hack with innovative ideas. | FlameOregu | 2023-01-07 | Version 1.0 |
This hack is absolutely amazing. I haven't gone through that much of the game so far, but when I first got the baselard I was shocked. It's not an upgrade to the starter knife, but is a whole different combat style. Being able to throw the knife and having a ranged, infinite option at the start of the game allows people to play a lot differently. There haven't been any new hacks in a while, but this one definitely was worth waiting for. 10/10 would definitely recommend.
| Say "goodbye" to boring and repetitive weapons! | Tsukiyomaru0 | 2023-01-03 | Version 1.0 |
This hack does improve a LOT of the weapons, making them more attractive to get and use. Well, most of them. Never have I spent ten or more hours trying to get every single drop to see if there was any weapon I haven't seen yet, and the tweak to Hammer's shop and added challenges makes it way more accessible to obtain, in case the Chaos Arena is a bit too much in difficulty. Personally, I'm extremely fond of how every Katana has been handled, as well as the addition of Nitesco, and certain souls' descriptions getting corrected as well, but I wish some other weapons had a little more time in development (Claymore and Joyeuse). In all, this can come as a fresh(er) way to experience Aria of Sorrow in its entirety and experiment with a more varied loadout. Be sure to look for every single drop and... Good luck!
