The greatest mouse hack I have seen for NESCornstarch Crusader2023-04-26Version 1.0

This is an absolutely incredible hack. Being able to use a mouse in this game makes it so much fun to play and so easy to use. It's as if this is a brand new game to explore and enjoy. The mouse sensitivity is perfect. I have no complaints at all about this, and the individual who created it deserves so much credit!

I am a weird bird - I will always appreciate what this game tried to do with an NES controller.

But Shadowgate - along with its fellow MacVentures - was designed to use a mouse first and foremost, so this is an NES feature that was a long time coming. Movement is responsive and flows better than I thought was possible on the NES, and the pointer wraps around the screen if you scroll too far... That's a bonus!

My only gripe here is that movement itself may be a touch too sensitive. It doesn't take much for the pointer to rocket from one end of the screen to the other...

But I hope this speaks of future support for Uninvited and Deja Vu... and their 'uncensored' variants...
