Hack description

In February of 2023, a user by the name of "C-Dude" created something that fundamentally changed the way people play the Quintet classic action role-playing game, Illusion of Gaia. Using Raeven0's research and some creative coding, C-Dude was able to add a proper "Sprint Button" to the game! No longer would players be forced to double-tap a direction to make Will (the player character) run. Player could sprint everywhere with ease! It was wonderful!

Months later, Josephine Lithius was playing a prototype of the game, from before Nintendo changed some things, and got to thinking how nice it would be if that version also had a Sprint button. And so, after a day of work, Jo Li was able to transplant C-Dude's code into the May 19, 1994 build of the game! And once more, all was right with the world.

If you, too, want to run around like a crazy person in the May prototype of Illusion of Gaia, this is the patch for you!
