This is the kind of game, for me, that evokes strange, mixed feelings. A weird combination of frustration, laughter and janky design with a pinch of nostalgia creates a strange concoction that is very much an acquired taste.

In no way a GOTY by any sensible measure, I still find myself going back to it for the sake of those simpler, sillier times.

This patch makes the game a lot more approachable and enjoyable, as the life refills post match go a long way in extending a run and allowing for a more aggressive, active play style that this game, given its arcade roots and punishing difficulty, rends to reward.

Thanks again, Billytime Games, for improving yet another one of my childhood memories!
