Hack description

A simple patch for a cherished forerunner of the action RPG. It changes the protagonist to female & edits the palette from purple to green. It also includes a more ranged-themed wand weapon - fitting, as there is little truly melee combat in the game. Care has been taken to emulate the existing art style for the new sprites.

The player can choose Continue to start with the Warrior Ring, which helps address the grind, lessens the twitch-reaction gameplay, as well as reduces the need to constantly ensure a weapon is charged whilst exploring (but beware the swamp!)

1.0a carries over Mentil's QoL improvements to over-caffeinated dialogue boxes as well as requiring you to only switch between swords to gain orb effects (it does not matter what orb is equipped)

As the creator stated this is a small mod for changing the player, the story and some graphics ever so slightly. Gameplay is left untouched with the exception of the Warrior Ring which does seem to come at the cost of being unable to name your character. The only thing I could find wrong was a typo where one of the NPCs still refers to the main character as a male. I was not sniffing out glitches or bugs so I could have miss others, but the shop glitch still works! Other than that this mod works fine from start to finish. If you want to cut the grinding down more this mod does seems to be compatible with QoL hack from Mentil. Regardless, if you like Crystalis, and hero swapping, this one should be a simple pleasure for most people.
