Hack description

This is a very minor improvement hack and is very similar in concept to justaicon's Number Improvement patch; This hack simply aims to solve the problem of confusing 4 for 9 on the HUD, though it only does so by removing 2 pixels rather than overhauling the whole font, keeping the blockier look.

Good idea, although it does not work with the EJRTQ Colorization and CSP patches pre-appliedRobertCorwen2024-06-17Version 1.0

Very good idea, 4's being barely distinguishable from 9's always been off-putting for me while playing this game.

However, this fix does not work with EJRTQ Colorization and CSP patches pre-applied, which makes it unusable for me. If you try apply the fix before the aforementioned colorization patches, the fix is overriden by the said patches. Alternatively, apply the fix after the patches results in graphical corruption.

It would be real nice if an update to this fix was made to allow for compatibility for both the EJRTQ Colorization and CSP patches. Maybe in the form of 2 different patch files: 1 for the base game, and another for a prepatched ROM.

Another effective way to enjoy the game. ????justaicon2023-12-14Version 1.0

I appreciate how somebody has improved on something that I have covered. To be completely honest here, you have done a better job than I did on working on this minor improvement. Great work! ????
