Reviews
| enjoying my time playing it | Nintenja | 2024-02-03 | Version 1.5 |
A few days ago I loaded this hack into my android tablet through SNES9X through retro arch. It loaded up. Everything seemed to work fine. I have continued playing it past the wind shrine now and have been grinding some jobs. I'm enjoying what I'm seeing. Let me say this, I AM SO HAPPY TO SEE SOMEONE else MAKING another Full Final Fantasy V hack. So far we have FFV Tweaks rpge translation, and FFV-Pixel Freemaster gba translation. Than we have the Pixel ReMaster. A lot of attention is given to the pixel remaster being its official release but there has been so much amazing work done on this game for the snes version that I believe its possible to rival the pixel remaster version. What they have going for them mostly is the updated fonts, menu, and interface, but it loses that classic charm and to me feels like an android or ios game more than a classic final fantasy v experience. I don't think this hack is finished yet. I can see a lot more being added to it and it becoming an even greater experience. And I'll play each version and test it as it comes out. The changes thus far were smart and play well together. I'll update this review over time if a version change happens or when I finish my playthrough of this version. Good work. | |||
