Hack description

This game is one of the hardest ROM hacks I've ever made. It's very hard and challenging.

This is a Hack sequel to Mega Man II, set after Mega Man defeated Dr. Wily again.

Dr. Wily set up a trap to kill Mega Man. Mega Man was subsequently killed by Dr. Wily. So now Dr. Wily rebuilt all eight Robot Masters again, and made all stages much more difficult.

However, only one hero can stop the evil Dr. Wily and save the world. He is... Angry Video Game Nerd!

AVGN VS Dr. Wily Levels: Bad Graphics: Eh (Only a sprite change and some palette tweaks) Music: No Change Enemies: No Change Bosses: No Change Weapons: No Change Castle: Bad Difficulty: EASY (Occasionally HARD) Comments: This hack is a masterclass of bad design. All of the stages are the exact same, except that there's been two spaces-wide pits added everywhere as a feeble attempt to increase difficulty. On most stages this is a negligible difference (Air Man, Flash Man), but Heat Man's stage in particular is a hellish nightmare of repetitive tight jumps. Only slightly amusing thing is the AVGN sprite and opening logo—otherwise this hack is to be avoided at all costs.
