Hack description

F-Zero Maximum Velocity's map screen utilises the low refresh rate of the original GBA screen to give the impression of a transparent map during races. This is done by rapidly switching the map's visibility on and off. While this does work fine on real hardware, it has the unfortunate side effect of causing screen retention/temporary burn-in on modern displays, not limited to: IPS displays, OLED, 4k TV sets, etc.

This hack simply removes the map entirely to allow you to play this on your modern television or monitor without the risk of burning the map into your display.

Works great, please do the other 2 F-Zero games as wellifightdragons2024-04-26Version 1.0

Does exactly as described! Finally makes playing F-Zero on your TV totally safe, without having to worry about burn-in.

Would be awesome to have similar hacks for the other 2 GBA F-Zero games.
