What can i say...ToadTeeporage7772017-12-20Version 2.0

A very well thought out hack. Of course it stars toad. Toad is my favorite Mario character so that was a plus for me. The levels are great. None of the levels were too difficult either. I also loved the color pallets used throughout the whole game. The author made a very unique hack. all in all this is one beautiful hack and I recommend this hack to anyone, really.

Great sound and the graphics are lovely. A hack done right. This hack really feels like something Nintendo actually made.

Incredibly Beautiful, but yet Strategic.Kallisto2015-08-30Version 2.0

  • This was played through the FCE ULTRA GX
  • Story-

A simple story, but with a twist. You rescue Mario instead of Peach with the lovable Toad.

    Music-

The iconic theme was slightly altered, but everything else stayed original.

    Gameplay (Pros & Cons):

This game truly is meant for experienced players, and requires patience, and strategy to get through tough spots throughout the levels. Sometimes you have to time the springboards correctly, and find hidden blocks to reach the next area. Occasionally there was pixel perfect jumps, and required me to use savestates, but there was not a bunch of them thankfully. He made a few interesting twists with certain enemies that threw me off guard in a good way as I still had time to fight back without getting cheap shots. There seems to be lack of secrets, and few advanced power-ups like the fire-flower, but it's just enough to beat the game. The only real bad thing about this game that very rarely there are spots where it can get very frustrating as you have to use the rush-of-bravey to get through tight spots, and there would be traps, and enemies to dodge constantly, but as stated this seems to be for experienced players. I would say a newbie will get a run for his money, but this would not be impossible for him to beat.

    Graphics:

This game is very beautiful, and fits with the world he created. The areas are very well crafted, and the enemy sprites were very surprising, and good to look at.

    Conclusion:

I definitely recommend this game as long you are ready for a moderately difficult journey.
