Lagrange Point is a great Japanese RPG, but as it is common with Japanese RPG's the difficulty is high. One of the aspects of the difficulty is the annoyingly high random encounter rate which hinders exploration and can put off casual players.Screenshots

I was able to walk around quite a bit before hitting any enemies outside. This is great because I'm definitely a casual RPG type of guy. Back in the day, as a kid, I'd have grinded all day, but anymore I appreciate a lighter, and shorter, experience. It worked fine with the translation patch, no glitching detected, but I only played for about 15 mins. I played with FFEUX.

Does what it says on the tin and makes this gem actually enjoyable by not interrupting your exploration every 10 seconds to fight, fight and fight again. I'm currently playing through and the decrese in encounter rate does not impact one's ability to gather Korons (the game's currency) negatively at all. I dare say the rate could even stand to be lowered even more without any negative repercussions. I hope the author will also create a no-flashing patch in the future to go with this, as this game is not at all photosensitivity-safe. You get flashing to an egregious degree as you navigate menus, enter combat and the like and it's quite bothersome even for people without these special needs.
