This KAIZO Hack was a nightmare to complete.HBG42021-02-18Version 1.0

This Hack was the worst time of my life, it took me 6 hours to beat it, no joke, but i finally beat it, it was the best time of my life when i beat the game. Hate those precise jumps with Diddy to do, and those Zingers and Krusha of hell.

Solid throughout, but Kaizo-ish at the endSosuko2020-08-23Version 1.0

Up until the final area of the game, this hack really delivers on a new experience for DKC players. The difficulty is kept consistently above the base game, but I'd imagine most people playing these types of hacks should have no issue with it. Level design is mixed up from the original game, and many cool mechanics are showcased.

Once you get to the final world however, the difficulty takes a sharp incline. I'd describe it as a light Kaizo difficulty that will take tons of repetition and patience to overcome without the use of save states. There are several tight jumps between bees, silver Krushas, and grinders, which are guaranteed to cost you tons of lives (so best to stock up). Still, it is possible and retains interesting design even amid the crazy challenge of it all.

Ultimately, I'd really recommend this one regardless. At least 80% of the game should be OK for all players, and for the masochists out there, have fun with the rest!

Unbeatable on the SNESChris Miller2012-07-16-

In the beginning, I found it quite enjoyable. The first levels would have made a worthy sequel to the original game, or as an unlockable second quest of sorts.

However, the later levels, especially in Chimp Caverns, required me to use over a hundred save states. I don't believe it's possible to beat this without doing a tool-assisted run (which I will never do) or using cheats.

In this regard, this hack is not faithful to the original game at all. If you replace the silver Krushas in some levels with the regular ones, and widen some of the ledges so that players of the human variety can land on them, then I will happily retract this review.

Starts off great, but...guitarpalooz2012-05-12-

Early on, this game presents a slightly greater challenge than the original which is more than welcome. The later levels, however, require pinpoint jumping for as many as a dozen jumps between bees and krushas that takes all the fun away. If the author of the hack can beat the final stage (not counting bosses) without save states I'd very much like to see it...

It seem this person didn't mention header or unheader. Everyone, please use unheader. Because header won't start the game after u load the file. You can hear music map but it is not start yet. Enjoy this hack. Remember use unheader.
