Don't get me wrong, I would definitely recommend this hack as it allows this game to become more accessible to more people. However, while I recommend this hack, the existence of FFA2 trumps this hack. While this hack does make laws non-existent, all it does is make this game easier and more accessible to more people and even with the removed laws, I would still sooner recommend FFA2 over this hack if only because besides the "one law per battle" rule, there's several more jobs, two new races, and a level cap of 99 makes FFA1 even with this hack added seem like a water downed version of what FFA2. That said, if anyone wanted to play FFA1 before making the leap to FFA2 but were being turned away from FFA1 because they heard how hard this game was. In other words, if anyone was turned away from FFA1, then with this hack, they will be able to enjoy the game's story and not have to worry about big things like the vanilla game makes you do.
| Definitely makes the game more playable. | Recca | 2017-02-23 | Version 1.0 |
The law system in Final Fantasy Tactics Advance has always been a great annoyance to many people, taking away from the replay value of the game. By removing said laws, this patch makes the game much easier for new players, as well as giving great replay value for those that have already finished it and would like to give it another go with a fresh new twist to it. I would definitely recommend using this patch for anyone who has ever been frustrated by the laws which can hinder gameplay in certain regards.
