This one of the most creative CV hack I've ever seen, is simply a giant labyrinth of stairs. I would speak about this hack by listing every level in one separated point:

1) The first level is meh..... there aren't a lot of stairs but you can see the ideas of the creator like a lot of trap and various methods to skip certain sections of the levels.

2) The second level is a lot better than the first one, there are many more stairs than the first level and there are also some fun parkour's part.

3)This level is more or less like the second one, so we can leave it and go the the fourth.

4) In this level there is a really likable platform, you must jump from this platform on the floor but this platform is really fast and you must do a very precise jump because if you jump too late you fall in the water, if you jump too soon you fall in the water, and if you jump in place you fall in the water and this is very fun (and annoying)

5)This level is a real labyrinth of stairs, there are a lot of stairs that cross and you must find a way to reach the other part of the level but the real solution to reach the other part of level isn't find the correct stair. The real solution is break down a wall (a really unfair move)

6) The last stage is meh.... like the first one but before the last fight with Dracula you can find an invisible stair that takes you in a secret floor where you can find an holy water.

My vote for this hack is 3.8/5

What I am reviewing today is the only decent Castlevania hack I've played through! For once, I'm not bogged down by horrid level design! It's actually a pretty cool hack. Lots, and lots of stairs... in fact, stage 5 is basically a labyrinth of stairs!

Stage 1 is kind of forgettable, but it's definitely a million times more well designed than every other attempt to hack it out there!

Stage 2 is quite challenging, actually. Maneuvering across the moving platforms can be pretty scary.

Stage 3, when I first tried this hack back in 2014, actually gave me a lot of trouble, but for some reason, in the playthrough I did last night, I did it without dying... yeah, I have no idea either.

Stage 4 was hard... out of everything, I had the most trouble with that tricky, steroid induced floating platform right at the beginning. All of the moving platforms were quite a challenge to maneuver across, and it's very satisfying when you manage to get across. It was a great stage overall, but one question; where are all the STAIRS here? (Oh, they must have been transported and taken over seas to stage 5, because there a looooooot of stairs there).

Stage 5 starts off as a giant labyrinth of stairs, going up and down from two screens, and the stairs cross over each other, and it's really cool. The 6th stage was, like the 1st stage, kind of forgettable, but then again, so was the 6th stage in Castlevania...

Why does the Dracula theme play for every boss, and the regular boss theme for Dracula??? That seems really weird to me. Whatever, I suppose it works...

This was a fun hack to play through. I mean, it's not a GREAT hack, but it was decent. I'd give it 3 stars out of 5, but that's not necessarily a low rating, because I would give every other hack I've played 2 or 1, and I wish there was such thing as a ZERO rating, just to give it to some of those CV1 hacks.

Congratulations, Alucard123, you've actually made me enjoy a Castlevania hack! You deserve props for that!

And now I can finally say that I recommend a Castlevania hack! I proudly provide a "Yes" to the recommended option!
