Hack description

This is an IPS patch that removes the "Zero" in the unreleased English NES prototype "Earth Bound".

Demi-Force changed the name of the prototype to "Earth Bound Zero" before releasing the ROM back in 1998, in order to prevent confusion with its SNES sequel, EarthBound (the space between "Earth" and "Bound" were removed). This patch changes it back to its original name, Earth Bound.
This patch was built around the "Demiforce v1.01 Hack-2" release (The final release; gets rid of the anti-piracy checks) and is intended to be used with that release of the ROM. The patch should also work with any ROM Hack built from the "Demiforce v1.01 Hack-2" release.

I've never liked calling this game Earthbound Zero. That alone is enough to recommend this simple patch.

But what's really neat is that you can apply the easy patch first. The easy patch changes "ZERO" to "EASY", and then the Zero Removal patch removes it altogether, leaving you with all the benefits of the easy patch without having it stated on the title screen.
