Translation description

This patch is a work-in-progress, originally already released several months ago. As of this version, it translates most menus, several graphical things like area and level names, and has some ASM-related tweaks put in place, ex. for reducing the width of the main fonts.

Not yet done are many other graphical things, some of them compressed, as well as all the dialogue, like the intro and the pre-boss sequences.

Didn't notice the graphical corruptions mentioned in the other review, and it technically contains everything its description advertises, but that's the best I can say about this patch. I find it hard to believe this was ever playtested, given how the entire game runs at a completely unusable framerate. (This was on emulator, by the way — I haven't tested it on real hardware, but only because I'm legitimately scared it could fry my poor old SP.) The original game is perfectly playable in Japanese, so why anyone would want to play this broken patch is beyond me. Steer clear of this one.

Patch results in graphical corruptions. Correct ROM used as well.LivelyZephyrs2020-04-19Version 0.5

The patch just corrupts the ROM when it's patched. Some text is translated, of course some isn't as well, but it doesn't translate all the same text as shown in the submission. More disturbing is that patching the ROM, despite all hashes matching up and it being a NOINTRO ROM, just causes the game to graphically corrupt and play with fairly massive slowdown. Doesn't outright crash, but kinda ruins the game. I feel like the patch may have not been tested during submission...
