Thank you!riverman_paul2022-01-22Version 1.01

From the instant I heard there were more Goemon games than just The Legend of the Mystical Ninja on SNES, I wanted to play more. Although I later played through #2-#4 on SNES, they were in Japanese, which made me enjoy them a lot less than I could have. I had no idea there were any on NES until recently, so I was thrilled to find this translation that made it much more fun. Thank you!

For a quirky game, the translation style keeps its promise. Title Screen replacement is thought-out graphically. The shops are functional text-wise - easy to use and understand. Overworld map looks fine. Dialogue is where the English is kept short enough to fit but easy to have fun with - somewhat comical script edits. Written with an English twist flavor. There's a few graphics kept in Japanese, which is not a minus. It shows the town feudal style and doesn't hinder players from running around and navigating. Endings are done and get the point across. Readme has useful information and relates the translation style - worth reading for gameplay tips.

Overall nice fun and results easy to get into. Don't see anything to change or add.
