Other Notes:

1. When using the included rom expander program (diskexpand.exe), you have to use short DOS file names without spaces. It is recommended to name the pre-patched rom something like A.fds and call the patched rom B.fds when using the program, and then rename it to whatever you want to after it's done.

2. Per readme instructions, force removal of the header when asked. If using the headerless version the program will recognize that there is no header already so there is no harm done, so always choose to remove it.

Translation description

This is an English translation of Deep Dungeon: Yuushi no Monshou for the Family Computer Disk System.

This is the sequel/continuation of Deep Dungeon. Someone's brought Ruu back to life and you, the hero summoned by the heavens must stop him.

KingMike included a couple utilities with the patch. One will expand the files in the FDS image. You will need to do that before applying the patch (in either IPS or UPS format), and note the patch requires the FDS image to NOT have a header.

Also included is a utility to append and remove Deep Dungeon 1 as a second disk to your DD2 image. DD2 has an option to import your character from the first game.

Since KingMike not aware of any emulator that will allow you to switch disks without automatically resetting, you'll need this as a workaround.

It was tested with FCEUX 2.0.2 and it seems that if you play two FDS games consecutively, game B will overwrite game A in the backup saves folder, making game A unplayable until you delete the backup.)

(If you want to remove DD1 after importing: You'll have to either use an emulator like FCEUXD SP, which writes saves back to the loaded FDS file. Otherwise, if your emulator writes saves to a backup .fds in its save folder, remove DD1 from that backup (assuming the backup isn't encrypted or anything)
