Translation description
This is a Spanish translation of the Game Boy Color version of Donkey Kong Land III. Neither the GB version nor the GBC version received an official Spanish release, so the Spanish translation is all new!
Level names have their own unique translations, preserving alliteration whenever possible, as opposed to translating the names literally. However, on occasion, some level names are translated literally.
Besides editing text, certain other screens were modified and translated into Spanish, most notably the title screen. A few screens in the game that contain compressed graphics, however, were left unaltered, but these are few and far between, and should not hinder the experience of the game.
In addition, a couple of features that were removed in the Japanese version of the game are restored in this translation, namely the world map animations and the last attempted time when playing the Time Attack mode.
This translation patch is fully complete, and contains no known bugs, other than what the original game already had.
Enjoy! The patch should be applied to the Japanese game for the Game Boy Color, titled "Donkey Kong GB: Dinky Kong & Dixie Kong". It will not work if applied to the original English game (titled "Donkey Kong Land III") for the Game Boy!
