Not only does this wonderful patch fix critical bugs that would hinder the player early disallowing the purchase of guns, it also fixes arguably the most critical bug introduced by the base patch by once again making the Law path work as intended. As a cool bonus, you have updated demon names and types to match Atlus' official offerings and an implementation of SMT2's automap shortcut that saves an incredible amount of time. This is how this great game should be played.

I just finished playing through this game, and the translation is fantastic! I would, however, like to address a pretty significant coding error I encountered: At the end of battle, you may receive money or MAG from the enemy. Your MAG maxes out at 99,999 while your money may go higher than this (I never got up to 999,999 so I don't know what the cap is). This works correctly. However, if you are GIFTED MAG from a demon, and the amount gifted would send you over 99,999, the game incorrectly sets your MONEY to 99,999. This both erases your actual money amount and replaces it with 99,999 for better or for worse (probably worse), and it also allows your MAG to exceed the cap. When your MAG exceeds the cap in this way, it actually *corrupts the stats of the first demon on your list.* The MAG overflow will persist until the next time you receive MAG from battle, at which point the correct capping will set your MAG to 99,999 (and erroneously report the amount of MAG received). Overall, fantastic game, and fantastic translation! I just wanted to bring attention to this coding error.
