This is an updated version of the translation patch for Getsu Fuuma Den (or The Legend of Fuma, as we chose to call it due to Konami's official name). We really like this game, which is why we wanted to give it a bit of a facelift. While the old translation by RPGe does its job quite well (and inspired us to go with our own take), it suffers from the limitations of early fan-translations. Our translation was expanded to fit in more script, makes use of both lines in text boxes, and it also translates major graphics (the "death" kanji when you fall into a pit, and the credits). Our goal was to give the game a "second wind" of sorts, and make more people familiar with it. So, please enjoy, and if you notice any issues, by all means be sure to contact us!Screenshots

The hacking team did a great job on this translation. The game's dialogue flows well and helps support the overall story as the player ventures throughout a monster-infested Japan. Being able to read the shop and dialogue texts is a must-have for this game, as it makes it feel like it was officially localized in the West. Use this translation if you plan on playing this Japan-only Konami title. | |||

Love the translations and Love the title screen! Always love this game and once in a while I still run the game and beat it! Not a short game and can be a bit challenge for the first timer! But once you play through, you will find joy in this master piece with great level design and catchy BGM! A walk-through is a must in this game because you need the map for the whole island and so do the 3D maze! Enjoy! | |||

Great translation. The one from 20th century was pretty barebones. This one takes everything to another level. This looks like a legit localized NES game. Lots of the plot was lost on the old translation and this one has everything. Best way to get hyped for GetsuFumaDen: Undying Moon in 2022. I played this game to know about the origins of the series.
