Enjoyed it as much as the original game. The re translation efforts and bug fixes make an under appreciated 'black sheep' of the four games shine that much brighter. Definitely check it out, especially if some of the translation bits bothered you. | |||

I started playing the old Phantasy Star games again after playing Phantasy Star Online 2 for a while. Phantasy Star III is the first turn-based jrpg I got into way back in the early 1990s. In the UK, we never had access to Dragon Quest and Final Fantasy until the Playstation was released. Whosoever worked on the retranslation made a fantastic effort. The story is more fleshed out than the official English release. However, there has been one or two minor typos (which I am happy to show) in one NPC's dialogue. I highly recommend this new localisation of Phantasy Star III. Excellent work. | |||
