Translation description

The patch is created for the Japanese version of Valkyrie Profile. The patch will translate the game from Japanese to Chinese.

An additional menu has been created before starting the game, you can view it in the screenshots. The additional menu contains the game start selection, credit section and readme section.

A dialog skip function has been added into the game. By pressing the triangle button, you can force skip the dialog in the game, but keep in mind that over using it may sometimes desynchronize the voice acts.

A extended version of Seraphic Gate has been created. The Seraphic Gate can be differentiated into "Fog World" which is the original Seraphic Gate, and the "Otherworld" which is the extended version of Seraphic Gate. The "Otherworld" Seraphic Gate has modified the difficulty of the level so the enemies are much more stronger, has more items and new gameplays. Players can enter the "Otherworld" Seraphic Gate by equipping the "Eyes of the Otherworld", which can be obtained in the "Fog World" Seraphic Gate.

The Chinese translation can only be patched to the 1999 Original Version Japanese ISO/BIN and cannot be patched on the 2000 Bug Fixed Version Japanese ISO/BIN. You can check the version of the ISO/BIN by using this utility tool.
