It's like if Cotton meets Space Harrier...and plus it's playable on a stock Genesis! No need for the SVP chip to run it - just any flash cart will make you play it, much like I did - with the fan translation, it makes things plenty sweeter. Even if you're not into the aesthetics of the game, it's worth trying, especially if Space Harrier is one of your favorites.

The game's a fun little romp through several locations, with multiple endings depending on the difficulty level; if you like the so-called cute 'em ups, this should be right up your alley! The translation itself is really good too, haven't noticed any particular issues with it, everything flows well and looks as it should.

Incidentally, the game will apparently be localized officially soon, alongside Cotton 100%. Hopefully that translation is of the same quality as this fan patch!

While Panorama Cotton can be played without it, the original has many screens of Japanese text telling an elaborate backstory. This English translation is most welcome as it fully translates all the text and graphics in the game, adding greatly to the enjoyment. For me, this is now the definitive version of Panorama Cotton.
