All Max1323 has changed is the ASCII text. Looking at the rom, instead of changing the pointers and storing the text at the end of the rom, the user has just replaced the text in the current space. Even the size of the dialog boxes have not been adjusted, making this look like a cheap translation.

Now if you are going to keep the title in English (most official game releases keep the English title, so this would be fine), then why refer to the "Beans" as "Habas"? That would be like referring to the "Puyos" as "Blobs", which would be silly.

From what I understand, it's important to use ¿ ¡ when asking a question / highlight an urgency of a sentence in Spanish. The fact the font hasn't been modified, it can make certain sentences look strange.

Now as my DX Edition of the game shows (https://www.romhacking.net/hacks/4858/), it is possible to change the font, graphics, and other text. There are some cheat codes as well that can region free the rom and unlock the Sound Test (https://tcrf.net/Dr._Robotnik%27s_Mean_Bean_Machine_(Genesis)#Cheat_Codes_to_unlock_Sound_Test). If Max1323 is interested, I would recommend they contact me, and I will gladly help improve with improving the translation hack.
