The best way to enjoy Marth's taleRed Soul2023-05-09Version 0.22

Despite the NDS remakes of this game being the latest offering, I always reviled the approach they had with the graphics. This SNES entry has beautiful sprites and stays consistent with the series other entries in the same system, which is a definite plus.

I only wish that the menu font and the dialogue font were the same, because the dialogue font looks brilliant, but the menu font is big and kind of crude in comparison. I hope the author revisits this with further addendums.

Looks like a good translation. I just wish there were a US variant.MegaMarkLM2021-05-11Version 0.20

I'm just starting the game with this translation. It looks really good, like it could have been an official release from back in the day. The only gripe I have with it (aside from the few japanese ideograms left in the unit overview or whatever) is that it uses the european names, without giving an alternative to use the US names. I wish that was an option for the people that have grown accustomed to them, like me (and I'm not even from the States, I'm Mexican, but those are the ones I'm familiar with).

However, aside from that, what I've seen from the translation is very promising. I've put off playing this game for the longest time since I've always been very picky with my fan-translations, and I hadn't realised that there was a "new" translation since the "RPGuy" one. I'm excited to finally play it after all this time.

Everything here really works well and all translated to English including the title screen. I always appreciate the work put into this as I can recommend the translation, but the game itself is rather mediocre. Still baby steps with Fire Emblem.

Looks like a retail releasevonseux2019-11-10Version 0.17

Finally this translation looks like a finished product that one would imagine release overseas. This fixes the old hack intro and title screen issues and Japanese letters. This is the version you want to add on your gaming device or repro card. The only thing left in Japanese that I've found is the class profiles if you let the game rest after the Press Start screen, hope to see it finished soon but it's already awesome as it is.
