Translation description

Full translation for Brazilian Portuguese, with new accented characters and almost all graphics edited.

The translation itself was based in the Hondoori's Rockman X3 translation, in order to re-localize texts and restore some lost elements. However, most names from the American localization were maintained, such as "Reploid", "Maverick", etc.

A superb translation that adapts the Japanese and English scripts appropriatelyEnchlore2022-02-08Version 1.0

I found this a very impressive translation from many technical standpoints. First off, graphics were added for accented characters and they serve their purpose well without affecting readability, which is already a big plus. And of course, more importantly, the translation itself is great. As cited in the description, it is based on a re-translation from the Japanese original and restores some lost nuances, which already enhances the experience a lot. It's also a competent translation to Brazilian Portuguese by its own right, adapting the script well without being too dry - there's still a personality to it.

All in all a very well done translation patch, that could pass off as an official product (or not, considering Capcom's less than stellar standards for a good while). It sure helps a lot when playing among friends who don't have a good grasp on English, or when recording for a Brazilian audience. Now I wonder if this translation can be ported to the PS1 version...
